The Emir of Mubi in Adamawa, Alhaji Isa Ahmadu, has advised teachers to ensure proper upbringing of their pupils.

The emir gave the advice yesterday in Mubi at a student parade organised by Islamic schools, as part of the activities to mark the Eid-el-Maulud celebration.

T he Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufa’I yesterday, inaugurated the visitation panel to Federal universities and inter-universities centres during a formal briefing of the team, in Abuja.

Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Rufai said since 1991, the Federal Government had instituted visitation panels to universities in line with the laws of the country, to examine the level of inadequacies and compliance with the regulations establishing them.
