Following reports in some international media that, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) was nursing plans to use its military might to invade Cote d’ Ivoire, President of the ECOWAS Commission, Mr. James Victor Gbeho, has denied the report saying, the commission had not taken a decision to invade Cote d’Ivoire for whatever reason.

A senior director in the  National Assembly, Suleiman Kabiru Mohammed, has dragged the National Assembly Service Commission to court, over alleged attempts to retire him illegally from service.
