Ali Nuhu and Wife, Zainab, mark triple celebration
Top actor Ali Nuhu representing Hausa part of the industry popularly called Kannywood is a year older. Ali was born on the 15th of March 1974 in Maiduguri town of Borno State.
Ali, who graduated from University of Jos with a B.sc in Geography is a Glo ambassador and has over 100 Hausa and 50 English movies to his credit. He has starred in popular movies alongside stars like Tonto Dikeh, John Dumelo and Olu Jacobs. Ali owns FKD production named after his late mother.
It’s a triple celebration for Ali Nuhu because he also celebrated the 9th wedding anniversary with his wife , Zainab Nuhu is also and moving into his new house in Kano.
Tchidi Chikere splits with wife, moves in with Actress
Some days ago, news broke of collapsed marriage of top Nollywood actor cum producer and director, Tchidi Chikere and his actress wife, Sophia, which produced three kids.
Another dimension was brought into the story when another actress, Nuella Njubigbo was alleged to be the woman responsible for Tchidi’s marriage break up.
It was another shocker when news filtered that Nuella is already pregnant and would soon marry Tchidi.
After earlier releasing a statement on the break up with Sophia, Tchidi has opened up in reaction to the criticisms the news has generated since the news broke.
According to Tchidi, “For all the idi*ts who went online to say craps about me and the lies being peddled on the internet, I want you to know I am not the kind of guy that backs down.
You are fo*ls! Envious demons. I am successful, and won’t stop being successful. You can go and die.
Just because I am in the public career don’t mean I have to live according to your whims! We will rise to the challenges accordingly.
I won’t be blackmailed, I won’t be intimidated . My vindication comes from God, not from man. Folks want to force you to live in unhappiness, they want to make you feel guilty for things you didn’t do.

News getting to Nigeriafilms.com from an industry insider confirms that the marriage of Nollywood actor cum producer and director, Tchidi Chikere has crumbled.
According to the source, Tchidi and his wife, Sophia are calling it quit with their 9-year old marriage due to inreconciling differences.
The marriage, which has produced three male children, was said to have endured some initial break ups and some unending difference between Tchidi and Sophia.
In a statement sent to us by the industry source, the marriage is said to be ending due to failure to make it work by the two parties.
After nine years of union that produced three wonderful boys, respected movie producer, Tchidi Chikere and wife, Sophia will be going their separate ways, the statement said.
The couple who have been trying to make things work for nine years will be calling it quits. They reached this painful decision after several break-ups and efforts to make the marriage work failed. The relationship was taking its toll on the children and affecting personal happiness of the couple.
The three children are with Sophia for now and Tchidi will be solely responsible for their upkeep and continue to play the role of a responsible father. It further said.
According to the statement, for the sake of the children and others involved, Tchidi Chikere will not be granting interviews or running down Sophia on the pages of newspapers.
He enjoins members of the fourth estate and public to respect his privacy and help protect the children from emotional torments.
Tchidi wants an amicable process and protecting the wellbeing of their three lovely boys remains top priority to him, especially during this trying times.
He thanks friends, fans and families for their prayers and support at this time and wishes that their (Tchidi, his children and ex-wife) privacy is respected especially for the sake of the three lovely boys.
He wishes to remain friends with Sophia as much as possible within the circumstance.
Efforts to get through to Tchidi to confirm this story proved abortive as his phone number remained unreachable. We learnt that he has not been in town since last year.

2Face Idibia turns Juju music artiste?
Top Nigerian music star, 2Face Idibia has tried his luck with another genre of music which is Juju music, which is a type of music that originated from Yoruba tribe in South-West of Nigeria.
According to available information, Tubaba, as he is also called, did a collaboration with an American based Nigerian Juju star, King Rokan.
