Dagrin, Terry G, 30 others to light-up Kennis Easter Fiesta |
It has become a tradition that every year, the Easter celebration will not be complete without the annual Kennis Music Easter fiesta, taking the centre stage in the ever busy Lagos metropolis. This time around, organisers of the event have said this year’s, its 12th edition, would be “bigger and better”. As part of preparations, managers of Kennis Music, Keke Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye are already making plans, as the first leg of the two-part event to be held at the prestigious Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos is in good shape. Meanwhile, high profile Nigerian artistes have been penciled down for the all important concert. Stars like fast-rising rapper Dagrin and street rocker Terry G are expected to lead the pack on April 2 and 5. Other key artistes include Banky W, Essence, Skuki, KSB, Sheyman, Omawumi and Goldie. Returnee singer Femi, Star Quest winners Diamonz and The Pulse, Timaya, 9ice, Eedris Abdulkareem, Lord of Ajasa, Mo’ Cheddar, Ill Bliss, Maye Hunta and K-Solo are also on the lineup. The shows are set to hold on April 2 (Good Friday) and April 5 (Easter Monday) at Oriental Hotel and Kuramo Beach respectively. Comedians are not left out; Alli Baba, Tee A, Gbenga Adeyinka and Julius Agwu will host activities on both dates.
