Mountains and hills are two different things but graphically they convey the same idea. The Oxford Learner’s Dictionary defines a mountain as “ a very high hill” The same Dictionary defines a hill as “an area of land higher than the land around it but not as high as a mountain.” So you can see the difference between the two essentially in terms of height.

This one sounds more fictitious than the first one that was monitored only by Reuters for Nigerians. The call sounds very fairy too, more so that it was posted in Arabic, when they knew that Nigerians do not speak Arabic language, when they knew that Nigeria is largely in perpetual blackout due to power failure, when they knew that most Nigerians cannot access internet; that’s attention-grabbing!

Sheikh Muhammad Fadl ‘Ashur said that the ninth century witnessed sharp views among scholars on the prohibition or permissibility of Maulud celebration in the Shari’ah. Some held the opinion that it was permissible, others said it was not.  The stage has not changed even today from what it was amongst early scholars and thinkers.
