Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people .Indeed; this is the simplest, commonest and accepted definitions of democracy the world over. In other words, democracy is a system of governance which is inarguably, the direct opposite of militocracy , autocracy , monarchy or any other unacceptable form of governance which negates the use of the ballots of the electorate .
In democracy, the ballot paper plays a very crucial role in the hands of the electorate. They use their valuable franchise to determine who rules them or otherwise. They could also the use the ballot paper to boot out any non performing government, hence, vote in the desired one.
