About 5,000 youths yesterday stormed the Murtala Muhammad Square, Kaduna, and registered their names to protest what they described as act of illegality committed by President Jonathan Goodluck in removing fuel subsidy, which will have grievous impact on the lives of Nigerians citizenry.

The mammoth crowed vowed to stage mother of all rallies on Friday to fight the move with “the last blood in our body” until government revert to the status quo of N65 per litre.

The National Coordinator Tajudeen Oladoja, who addressed the mammoth crowd, said “The youths of Nigeria are all here under the auspices of an NGO, Occupy Nigeria, the group here is devoid of any political, religious, ethnic colouration and we are here in our thousands to frontally attack the policy of President Goodluck Jonathan, the act of illegality he has committed by unjustifiably and unlawfully removing the fuel subsidy”.

Barrister Oladoja said Jonathan had brought untold hardship on Nigerians with a policy that should not be allowed.

According to him, “this is a policy that we are going to fight with the last blood in our body, we have registered our names in thousands, we are working to stage the mother of all rallies in Murtala Square here in Kaduna on Friday and nobody under this planet can stop us”.
