Nadal, Federer heading back to Abu Dhabi

Nadal, World No. 1Top-ranked Rafael Nadal and No 2 Roger Federer are headed back to Abu Dhabi. Organisers of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship say Nadal and Federer will compete at the tournament scheduled to run over New Year’s.

Defending champion Jurgen Melzer rallied past Andreas Haider-Maurer 6-7 (10), 7-6 (4), 6-4 yesterday to win his third career title at the Bank Austria Trophy.

Federer eases to win over Taylor Dent in Sweden

Murray beats Federer to win Shanghai Masters 

Andy Murray showed he is back on top form by beating Roger Federer in straight sets to win the Shanghai Masters. The Briton finally put the memory of his early exit at the US Open well and truly behind him as he won 6-3 6-2 to claim his second title of the year and sixth at the elite Masters 1000 level.
