The present serviceability rate  as well as the huge development recorded by the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) can only be attributed to the doggedness of the present Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Air Chief Marshal Oluseyi Olusegun Petinrin.
This is the remark of the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Muhammed Dikko Umar, at the weekend in a dinner organized by the NAF in honour of the service the CDS rendered to the NAF when he was CAS.
The CAS, said that five different types of aircraft have either undergone turn-around maintenance or in their finishing stages, adding that most of the aircrew are also being trained or retrained.
Marshal Umar, said that he is presently consolidating the achievements of the CDS as he called on him not to forget the NAF, as it is where his foundation lies.
