Warning! Ritual killers are on the prowl again. Residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT ) Abuja woke up yesterday morning to discover the butchered remains of a young lady supposed to be in her late 20s with her vital parts removed and the carcass stuffed in a sack by suspected ritual killers.
The heartless killers, who must have carried out their devilish act  the previous night dumped the vandalised body along the Kubwa express way where motorists discovered it at about 9 am.
When Peoples Daily Weekend arrived the scene, a crowd had already gathered though nobody was able the recognise the unfortunate young lady.  Residents suspect that she must have been kidnapped from somewhere outside Abuja and butchered in one of the forest before her remains were dumped by the road side.
A closer look at the dismembered body of the victim showed that the assailants had already harvested many of her vital organs including her private parts even as she was completely butchered apparently to enable the parts of the body fit into smaller bags which were then put into a larger sack.
It was observed that the lady may have wore a jeans skirt and a pink top even as the nail red nail paints on her toes were still visible.
While some perons in the crowd took picture, policemen at the scene refused to comment on the matter but one of them who pleaded anonymity told Peoples Daily Weekend that the matter would be investigated.
He warned Nigerians to be wary of the company they keep and where they go, especially in the night as it has become evident that ritual killers were still on the prowl. The body was later removed by the police.
Ritual killing is not new in Abuja but has abated in recent times. Meanwhile fear has gripped residents even as the authorities call for more caution and security consciousness across the country.
