In Gombe, gunmen also suspected to be members of the sect attacked a police station and other locations in the city with bombs. Massive explosions were heard at the main roundabout in the city, a situation that left residents scampering for safety in different directions.
Another source said gunfire was also heard at various locations in the city including at a police station opposite the Bubayero Primary School in the city centre. The state police spokesperson was not available for comments as he didn't answer or return calls to his mobile telephone. However, no casualty was reported from the attacks.
Meanwhile the state has imposed a 24 hour curfew in the state. The Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Sule Bage, who announced the curfew, said it will be in force until there the situation is brought under control

Enough!
written by Muhd Shafiu Yakub, February 25, 2012
The Northern Governors should stop talking about what they will be gaining for themselves and face the challenges ahead of them for protecting lives and property of the people they govern. The issue of these multiple blasts is an agenda to down grade the north despite other ways of injustice the federal Government is doing to the north in terms of fed allocation, social amenities, infrastructure and development. Time has come for our leaders to raise up to challenge these act. We are not cowards that every time the blast will only hit northern states, why not other parts of the country and our leaders kept quite leaving us tobe talking which has no much effect. Please tell me whom do you fear that you can not say something, fear Allah because he is the owner of your soul. Enough must be Enough, we need you in action not in papers
