The Deputy Managing Director, Nigeria Turkish International Colleges (NTIC) Mr Dauud Piraz, said the school has recorded huge successes in the last year.
Mr Piraz, who said this to newsmen in Abuja, disclosed that the school came third at an International Mathematics Olympiad competition, held in the Netherlands in 2011.
The Deputy Managing Director also said that the school won other prizes locally and at international levels.
“The school recorded significant successes in 2011. One of the notable awards received by NTIC in 2011 is the 52nd International Mathematics Olympiad Bronze medal.”
He credited the school’s successes to the combined efforts of teachers, who are both of Turkish and Nigerian origin.
Mr Piraz said the school awarded scholarships to indigent students, who performed well in the NTIC scholarship examination.
