Benue people are not for Jonathan, says Shuluwa Friday, 22 October 2010 03:43  Chief Abu King Shuluwa is a frontline politician and chieftain of PDP in Benue State. He was a member of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). In this interview with newsmen recently in Makurdi, he argued that the recent bomb blasts in Abuja portends a bad omen for Nigeria. He also frowned at the endorsement of President Goodluck Jonathan by some Benue elders, insisting that zoning must be adhered to, amongst other issues. Our correspondent Uche Nnorom was there.

For some time now, the political climate in Ogun state has been nothing but scary. Governor Gbenga Daniel's second tenure has been tumultuous due to fundamental disagreements between the executive arm, which he leads, and the legislature. Political observers however, are of the opinion that some 'big masquerades' in the state are behind the frosty relationship between the two institutions.
