The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has condemned the State Security Service (SSS) for denying suspects of the October 1, 2010, multiple bomb blasts in Abuja access to counsels during their arraignment at a Chief Magistrate’s Court, Abuja, on Thursday, saying it was a breach of their fundamental rights and an assault of due process of the law.

The Federal Government is proposing 10-15 years tax grace period for large-scale investments in the power sector. The communiqué of a four-day forum organized in Abuja by the Ministry of Power, in collaboration with the Embassies of Finland, Sweden and Norway, released at the weekend said “a pioneer status” for big time investors in the sector  would boost the country’s power generationcapacity.
