Focal Point College, Ilorin, grooms children for specialisation

Focal Point College in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital,  is one of the private schools  that provides quality  education to children.  The college, started with arts and commercial subjects  sometime in September 2004, six years ago. The focus, according to the principal of the college, Mr. Femi Ajide was to train students to confront challenges later in life.

THE Vice-Chancellor, University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Professor Is-haq  Oloyede, has disclosed  that the institution has stopped conferring honorary doctorate degrees on  people  in order to avoid abuse.

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), at the end of its 2009/2010 academic session, which ended last week, graduated 63 doctorates of philosophy (Ph.D.) students.

The acting dean of the Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin, Professor Lenrie Olatokunbo Aina, has been elected the President of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA).
