How could a man so graceful and rich in his humanity, so accomplished yet so gregarious and approachable, a man possessed of the deepest, most resonant laughter I ever heard – how could such a man die?

To those who do not know him Dr. Usman was born into the royal family of Katsina. He schooled at Musawa Junior Primary School, Kankia Senior Primary School, Minna Senior Primary School and Government College Kaduna in the period 1951-1962.
